Olympic Stadium "will be transformed into Britain's countryside" for opening ceremony
The Olympic Stadium "will be transformed into Britain's countryside" for the opening ceremony apparently. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-18392025
Trying to guess what this will consist of; possibly some fly-tipping, a farmer singing "get orf moy laaahnd", no black people and a high speed rail link running right through the middle of it?
Any better guesses?Last edited by digitaltoast; 12-06-2012 at 13:10. Reason: Too many possibly's! -

Re: Olympic Stadium "will be transformed into Britain's countryside" for opening cere
I bet that whatever it is, there will be loads of complaints about how crap it was, just like for the Jubilee.
Seems we British are great at complaining (but only anonymously or after the event, if for example it was someone being a dick with their music on a train or bus, you wouldn't hear a peep out of most people until afterwards).Last edited by marcusfox; 12-06-2012 at 13:12. -

Although you are mostly correct in noting that minorities are not seen as frequently as in cities. I don't think this can be said to be a good or bad thing though. -
Re: Olympic Stadium "will be transformed into Britain's countryside" for opening cereLOL totally agree, we are complainers from afar. Someone with music on the bus wont be moaned at but others will get earache after getting off the bus ABOUT the person playing music "Did you hear that music, why didnt they turn it down" Well that would be because you didnt ask :P(Original post by marcusfox)
