IB Physics TZ2 2012
More than 24 hours have passed for all papers (1, 2 & 3)....
So what do you guys think about the exams?? Paper 2 was very difficult in my opinion... What did you do in paper 1?? If you remember some answers please share them so we can see where we went wrong
There was a question on paper 1 asking why blue light is used by microscopes, what was the answer for that?? -
Re: IB Physics TZ2 2012
For the blue light I put that it increases diffraction. Paper 2 was ok, not too hard not too easy, I chose B1 and B4. I had doubt on the question in P1 about the enhanced greenhouse effect, i was doubting betweenfossil fuels and volcano activity, what did you put?
Paper 3 was fine too, a few questions which i dislike in the electromagnetic waves, but astrophysics was fine. -
Re: IB Physics TZ2 2012enhanced greenhouse effect specifically means stuff caused by human activity and not by natural processes so it would be fossil fuels.(Original post by F1Guille)

I completely faqed up paper2, chose B1 and B2 without even looking properly at B3 and B4 then realized I couldn't calculate the two questions worth 7 points in total in the middle of B2. How are we supposed to do that one? without the radius of the earth?:P I tried calculating the radius from the 4(pi)(radius squared) but of course that just redirected me to the same values.. and on B1 what did you get for the work done under the graph? I just really roughly calculated and got 180joules... should've counted the boxes properly..
so if we get 30 points out of the 95, and get about half of paper 3 right... and my IA and paper 1 are both sixes, the very least i can get is a 4, right? since the grade boundaries are so low. -
Re: IB Physics TZ2 2012I think that can actually be a 5, not sure though...(Original post by avtrox)

Re: IB Physics TZ2 2012Am i the only one who chose B2 & B3??? Anyways, I just took a complete guess for the blue light question i choose magnification cause why would someone want diffraction to occur with a microscope??? wouldn't that make the image less clear??(Original post by F1Guille)
