    When you say vampire skeletons...

don't you really mean that people used to believe in vampires. People have always and will always believe stupid things purely on the basis of anecdotal evidence (eg psychics, ghosts, necromancy, spirits, astrology, voodoo etc.).

    Just to clarify:

But archaeologists in Bulgaria are finding more and more evidence to show that a genuine, widespread belief in vampires really existed.
    and:

The bones of a man in his thirties have yet to be dated but are believed to be at least several centuries old.

'This man is not a vampire but was subjected to this pagan superstition-driven ritual to prevent him from becoming one after his death,' Mr Ovcharov explained.
    Not actually vampire skeletons, obviously.

Whilst it is misleading, how many people are going to come here genuinely thinking we've found proof of vampires?

tbh... the BBC had it up as the same kind of headline as this... now that was definitely misleading

I swear the BBC is becoming worse and more sensationalist every day.
