how can i out myself without telling people?
Does anyone know a way i can let someone know i'm gay without me having to actually tell them. I just don't want to tell him and then they reply well why are you telling me and it be really awkward. I asked my friends to tell him, but he's too shy to meet them. I was thinking about asking them to post on my facebook wall that i'm gay but i'm hoping there's better methods, any ideas? please not 'show him your penis', 'let him see you watching gay porn' etc thanks

Re: how can i out myself without telling people?this is a good idea, thanks(Original post by Bellissima)
get a necklace with the word "gay" on it, you know like those ones with your name on it but "gay" instead and wear it whenever you're around him.
then if he asks you about it just say it's because you're gay and it's for gay pride. -

Or instead of the necklace saying 'gay', try a rainbow heart or some such. Little more subtle but might get the message across :P Otherwise, (if you have one) you could try mentioning an ex-boyfriend casually in conversation or say there's this new gay club you want to try. Just try and mention it casually in a way that lets him know but isn't like "I'M GAY, WHAT'S YOUR RESPONSE?!?!?"

Re: how can i out myself without telling people?
let them catch you doing something with the same sex - thats pretty obvious

nah, but in all seriousness, you could just casually drop it into conversation -like the ex-boyfriend one - thats good.
anyway, I doubt he will ask why any more that he would ask why someone else is hetero. Most people realise its not something you can control anymore than i can control which ever guy i fall for.
its love and sexual attraction - who knows why, and who can control it?

Re: how can i out myself without telling people? Why bump when you recieved perfectly good answers?
Let him know through the medium of interpretive dance.
If that's not good enough, then dropping the old ex-boyfriend shizz in a conversation works, as was said earlier. -

Just casually bring up in a convo that your ass is still sore from last night.
or say "I just spoke to my ex last night, but I told him I don't wanna talk to him again"
or say "I'm bored, wanna quicky?"
or get someone to upload a photo of you kissing a guy. -
Re: how can i out myself without telling people?there have been some good answers especially the ex one which i'll probably end up using, but i'm just asking for some more suggestions. bump.(Original post by Alpharius)

hmmm no idea what to suggest. I suggest getting a rainbow wrist band. I think if you join the LGBT Soc on The Student Room (Chat thread is probs best) there'll be a load of people who have come out or are in the process of it, and they'd be able to advise you better.
