I too was disappointed to hear that CGP do not make an A2 revision guide. The AS one was very good.

I've heard the Phillip Allan book can be quite good, it condenses information down. Your best bet is to make your own revision notes for A2 though.

Very urgent question. An answer would be appreciated...

    - At the bare minimum, we only need to know 3 topics/units?
    - Im confused about the exam structure... You answer 2 topics in the first section then in the second half you answer an essay which is not the same as the 2 you did in the first section?

    Quick answer would be appreciated!

Bare minimum of 3 topics is required yes.

Plate Tectonics is compulsory, you pick another 2. One of your optional modules must be human geography related however (conflicts, development & globalisation, world cities).

In the exam you have to answer one question from each section A, B and C. Section A is your physical units (Tectonics, Weather, Ecosystems). Section B is your human units (Conflicts, Development, World Cities). Section comprises of all 6 topics, but each having their own 40 mark question.

You need to pick a combination of topics for each of the sections. Whichever of your 3 topics you don't do in Section A or B, MUST be done in Section C. For example, I did Plate Tectonics in Section A, Development and Globalisation in Section B, and World Cities essay in Section C.

    Hope that makes sense.

This is the book I used for my revision and I would recommend it. Much better than the textbook we were given in school

I was thinking more of a 'revision book' and not a textbook :P
