Which one should I wear to prom?
Option 1

(with some nude heels and gold accesories)
I don't know how I feel about wearing a midi dress but I think they're really flattering on my body shape. Its not very prom-ish but then I dont want a prom-ish dress, I want to be able to wear it again. It looks timeless. Apart from that, I really like everything about it. I'd have my hair down, a little wavy .. simple makeup.
Option B

I like this dress too. It looks a bit weird on the asos website though. On the oasis website it looks a lot better? Maybe because the model has her hair back and is wearing shoes that complement the dress quite well .. Anyway, that aside I can check out the dress at the actual oasis shop. I'd have my hair up, in a pony or something similar. I think the white short skirt under it is a bit naff. I'd prefer if it was long and sleek. I could have some material added or i could just wear a slim fit maxi skirt under it. Some nude heels perhaps and some gold accesories or clutch? Also, I'm really tan/brownish skin, so the stark white might be a bit too harsh?
I really don't know which one to choose. The midi dress is a bit cheaper and wearable to other occations. I really like the detail on the back, but then I also like the second dress because of the detailing at the front.
Which one would you choose? -
Re: Which one should I wear to prom?
One hundred percent the Oasis one - it is so beautiful. I think the first one is really lovely too, and would be just as perfect but I am in love with the Oasis one. I agree, hair needs to be up and off your face for it though, why not a plaited bun instead of a pony tail? Also a short skirt underneath a long chiffon skirt seems to be really popular at the moment, so they're hard to avoid. But I think it makes something classical have a "sexy" edge haha.
