Is it possible to search an user in a specific thread?
Hi I searched myself in a thread I thought I posted in, but nothing came up. Is it possible to do that, or only within forums?

not sure...if you are just trying to find the thread you posted in then go to your profile, click the 'mystats' tab, click 'view all posts by eubacterium' and i will give you a list of all the posts you have made starting with the most recent and at the left hand side you can filter them by which forum it was in
    hope that helps

When viewing the list of threads in a forum, click on the "replies" number for the thread in question, then click on your username from the page that loads up.

Depending on what browser you use you could go to edit at the top and click on "find" or something to that effect.
