If I was in your position, I would retake my A levels, get better grades, and go to a better University. -
Re: London south bank uni or London metropolitanSouth Bank is the better of the 2 and surprisingly has a decent graduate salary after your finish.(Original post by Abimbola21)

But it's upto you, as Poltricks said, it would be better to get into a better course and uni who can provide better support. -
Re: London south bank uni or London metropolitanFor housing studies? I would imagine that this is taught pretty well exclusively at new universities and as well that it has rather good public sector employment rates.(Original post by Politricks)

There is just no good sense in telling everyone thinking of going to those universities "retake your A levels", though I would wonder after the wisdom of going there to study a traditionally academic course. -
Re: London south bank uni or London metropolitan
In my opinion London Metropolitan is the best choice of all the Universities. I had considered studying at London South Bank, but chose London Met instead and dont regret it, actually I can see now I have graduated from Arts Management & Theatre Studies I made the right choice.

Was it much worse? Did they have bigger trouble finding a job? -
Re: London south bank uni or London metropolitanNah, that would look worse on her CV than going to study at a university(Original post by Politricks)

which is poorly ranked (but might have some faculties which are actually
decent at what they teach). If you get a good degree at LSBU (and even
LMU), get some years of relevant work experience under your belt and then
do your Masters at a better reputed school, you can still have a fine career. -

how well these courses are taught at the two universities and on how difficult
graduates found it to get jobs after graduation.
Visit both schools, speak to faculty and past and present students, and have
a close look at the structure of both programmes. You might even want to call
up the HR departments of companies you'd like to work for in the future and
ask them for opinions on both schools.
