The Prospects Law magazine has just come out for 2011-2012 and is full of vacation schemes, training contracts, application tips and alternative career options. It's viewable online or you can get a print copy at your local careers service.

I thought the site/newspaper was just focused on banking but just discovered they have a really good law section as well.
