    OCR Biology - Grades?
I'm about to take my F212 exam tomorrow, and have just been trying to calculate what grade I would get if I got a certain grade in the exam tomorrow.

I'm really struggling as you need to consider each unit has a weighting that will contribute more to the A Level than others

My grades or rough estimations I got is below:

[ ] = Retakes or exams that still to get a definite grade

    F211 - D
    F212 - [C]
    F213 (Coursework) - B in AS, A in A2
    F214 [C/B]
    F215 - [B/C]

I'm not sure what the grade boundaries are as they confused the hell out of me, if anybody can figure out how I go about this would be greatly appreciated! Trying to fathom this out to see if I have a chance of getting into Uni.

What you need to do is find out how many UMS you scored on each exam- this should be on your exam result breakdown. Then add them out and find your total. If you are still retaking/ don't know the UMS, look at the UMS and raw mark grade boundaries from the years you sat the papers to get a rough estimate for the UMS.
Overall for an A at A2, you need 480 UMS, for a b you need 420 UMS, c you need 360 UMS and so on.
    Does that help?

Looks like at high C or low B but we need the ums to calculate it properly.
