Re: Student Union
Not been on TSR in ages and I've just seen your message-
Swansea University Students' Union is pretty good to be honest
It's a great voice for students on the campaigning side of things (surveys done by them on Housing have been used on a national level!) and for nightlife, regularly running 6 nights a week at venues on and off campus as well as big events like the Summer ball (this year's had Pixie Lott, Rudimental and Tim Minchin performing!). It's very easy to get involved and all the nights out they arrange are really popular- particularly Sin Savers at Sin City (city centre) on a Thursday (alternative music and £1.50 doubles) and Tooters (2 drinks for £2 and £2 entry) in Divas (on campus) on a Friday (both providing free soft drinks as well).

Re: Student Union^^ Yeah, and Sin do £1.49 doubles. DOUBLES!(Original post by ctfc1)
Hi i've got an offer from swansea uni for maths and economics and i was wondering what the student union was like?
But yeah, Student Swansea Events (who I'm pretty sure are run by the SU) do great events.. It's not just clubbing though, there's a pub quiz on Sundays, open mic night on Thursdays, etc.
It's pretty together, yeah.. Was there anything more specific you meant/wanted to know?
