Should I see the doctor about severe fatigue?
I'm currently doing my AS exams and I'm not doing so well because I don't have the energy to revise. This is because I feel very fatigued all the time and drained. I could easily sleep around 12-13 hours a night and when I get up, I do feel 'relaxed' but I'm not bursting with energy and ready to go. I had surgery 2 years ago and lost a litre of blood and it did take a long time to get my iron levels back to normal using iron tablets but I eventually did and that was a few months ago, possibly before Christmas time?
I wish I had've went to the doctors before my exams because I wasn't exactly meeting deadlines and things but I just don't have the energy to do stuff. I got a blackberry about 2 months ago and the bbm isn't working on it properly and I still haven't fixed it because I just can't be bothered.
I know teenagers are normally a bit tired, but I think mine isn't normal. I've no motivation and just want to sleep all the time.
If I do go and see the doctor, what would happen in terms of diagnosis and treatment etc. -

I would say see a doctor, although to me this doesn't sound that extreme no one can diagnose you over the internet. you may well be anemic or any number of other things.
About the 13 hours thing, Around exam time I think that is normal, If i could sleep for that long I would but I have way too much to do.
Presumably they did give you more blood if you lost that much? -

You need a number of tests like blood, urine, hair, etc in order to find out what is going on. Let us know here at http://www.thestudentroom.co.uk how happens.
