Is this a good deal for S3?
    http://phone-shop.tesco.com/mobile-p...7-bb1311d043fd

You get 300mins, Unlimited text, and 750mb data
You get free insurance over the term of the contract as well.

Does anyone know of a better deal? I really either want the S3 or the One X so it's between these two, Thanks

Looks like quite a good deal. I can find a deal with 300 mins, unlimited txts & 750MB of data for £26 per month with a free phone. This would save you the £50 upfront fee with Tesco, however there is free insurance.

    try a search here:

There are some better deals on the One X, however in my opinion the S3 is the superior handset.

HTC One X, 500 mins, unlimited texts & 250MB data for £19.50 per month (average after redemption).

Are you happy to take on a redemption contract? or are you looking for a simple monthly cost, with no conditions attached?

TBF, I wouldn't mind getting the S3 or the HOX, they're both great phones and the HTC only pretty much loses by like a tiny bit. I did like the idea of free insurance, as I am quite careless some times and both of the phones are very expensive. I wouldn't exactly mind the redemption as long as it is easy to do.

Also as this would be my first contract how much is 250mb data exactly? Is that quite low or ?

The redemption usually consist of sending your bill into the retailer every 3 months in order for them to send you money back.

For example, the HTC One X deals has 6 months free by redemption. You would pay £26 per month, however after claiming money back from the retailer you would end up paying on average £19.50 p/m.

    Data.

All depends on what you will be using your phone to do, see this independent article independent.co.uk.

Remember, at home you can connect via wi-fi and therefore this data will not be taken from your plan.

250MB should be enough for the majority of users, however may be safer to go with 500MB to make sure you dont have any unwanted additional costs.
