    The amazing spiderman?
    This might just be me being totally dense, but this film's existence confuses me.

    The spiderman franchise just finnished a couple of years ago...and now a whole new one is starting? Am I grabbing the wrong end of the stick, or is this basically a new version of the original film ?o.0

    Basically they started to make Spider-man 4 but the studios didnt like it, so they rebooted it into an entirely new series. Also, the original films were never really true to the comic book story. This new series is more accurate.
