Maintenance Loan, But no Grant?

Maintenance Loan, But no Grant?I applied for Student finance and opted for the Maximum amount of the Maintenance Loan, I sent off my Forms and they then emailed me about the Student Finance that was available to me, It states the Full amount of the Tuition Fee Loan and the Full amount of the Maintenance Loan, but mentions nothing about the Maintainence Grant, does that mean im not eligible for it if they haven't stated anything about it?

Re: Maintenance Loan, But no Grant?naw that happened to me too but they sent me out form saying im entitled to 0.00 tuition fee loan 0.00 maintenance loan and 0.00 grant, it asked me to sign and return the form also if i wanted my payments to be on time, so I had to phone up and get it sorted out.

They should tell you when you are applying whether the grant is available to you or not. If it's not stated then I assume you are not eligible. -

Re: Maintenance Loan, But no Grant?It's only available to those of a certain household income; did you not opt to have your household income assessed? If you didn't they wouldn't prompt you about the maintenance grant.(Original post by minahil1234567)

That's how it worked with me. Once I processed all of my household income at the end they told me what my loan and grant was. I don't think they told me before I completed it from what I remember. -

If you are certain you should get the grant then I would say to ring up Student Finance. Out of curiosity, what is your household total income?
