    Accommodation at Coventry Uni
hey, thought I'd start a thread for anyone who's currently deciding which accommodation to go for!
I'm starting in September this year and doing Dietetics
but (probably like a few ppl) I'm unsure which accommodation to choose.
anyone have any helpful points about the places to stay? (I'm going for one of the self-caterd places)

Singer Hall is an awesome self-catered accomodation

ive picked singer hall for my first choice then trinity for my second as the price for it is quite high even though you get an ensuite.

i would say look at how much they cost and work out how much of your loan you would have left for food and going out, i get the full loan and grant and with trinity it worked out i only had about £30 to live on a week.

    Hope this helps

Singer hall is the best hall at cov, I lived there in first year it's social and close to uni and Is one of the more affordable halls! X

I would say Singer is an excellent hall if you want to be self-catered. Trinity is not as social from my experience, and very hard to get into! It's nicely done though.

However, I am a Priory girl through and through, and (biased though I may be), no halls will ever quite beat it

Callice Courts is easily the best accommodation available, followed by Raglan House but its highly unlikely that you'll be offered stay there cos they usually get overbooked. Singer halls would probably be the next best option if you're not fuzzy about having an ensuite. Its best not to go for Sherbourne House or Apollo house, cos they are incredibly far from the uni and you really don't want them early morning walks for a 9am lecture!

i've just applied for Victoria halls... thought it looked the nicest- being brand new (it's not even built completely yet!) its cheaper, nicer location than some of the other accommodations, and won't be full of first years (which i thought was a plus!)

i've also got a place to study dietetics in coventry, would be great to get in touch!
