    Worried about uni
I'm starting uni this year and I'm really worried about it. I get really homesick and I'm worried I'll want to come home after one day and that I won't make any friends... But! I've just come across this blog:
    http://thechanginglifeofastudent.blogspot.co.uk/

It's written by someone who's also starting uni in September who's also in the same position as me. It seems as though they're gonna blog all the way up until they start uni and then carry on once they've started, sharing their worries to try and help other people who are also worried. I found it really helpful and will probably follow it so I know I'm not the only one worrying and thought I'd share it for everyone else who's worried!

Ok - it is a perfectly sensible idea for a blog. I was also worried about going to university, but for a different reason and a worry shared is a worry halved.

But when an anonymous poster just happens to promote a one-entry blog you do have to wonder if the blogger and the thread starter are the same person?

Just look on it as a positive experience, becasue it really, really is.

I had the advantage of going to university with a friend, but even without him I reckon I would have been fine. You might benefit from stepping outside your comfort zone prior to going to uni, for example going camping for a week with some friends.

I'm quite nervous too, I'm scared none of my housemates will like me and i'll have to go to fresher events on my own....i'm also scared of stupid things like walking across the campus on my own! I want to join the cheerleading squad but I hate the thought of having no one to talk to in the try-outs and I'm really self conscious if I'm not in a group!

I'm also worried about running out of money and not being able to afford food lol...

    sounds so silly written down!
