Broadband query.
Hey guys!
I just wanted to know whether existing customers who are not on a contract are entitled to new contracts offered to customers on their homepage. Basically when I log in to my account page we are offered a worse off contract than the one offered on the normal homepage.
What do I do?
Thanks. -
Re: Broadband query.
It all depends on the company really, some of them will have disclaimers saying these offers are not allowed for new customers, however I guess you could ring them up and ask them why you are being offered a worse deal for being a loyal customer.... they might give you the same deal if you say it's not right and threaten to quit, i know someone who got £10 knocked off their bill because of this.

Re: Broadband query.
It would depend on the ISP. Best to ring and ask really, and you can always barter for a deal on the phone
Mind you, I once got around this by cancelling my subscription with the ISP, the next day phoning and asking that they remove all all information relating to me under the Data Protection Act, then calling back a week later to join as a new customer. -
Re: Broadband query.Ask them, otherwise if you have finished the contract period, cancel it and re-apply as a new one.(Original post by senz72)
