How to get rid of UnoTelly/ UnoDNS
    Hi,

A family member came around the other day and did somthing to the comouter trying to get Netflix USA on our computer.

He must have used something called UnoTelly or UnoDNS.
The big problem is that we can't know get onto the BBC websites or iPlayer, plus Netflix won't logon.

I've tried to get rid of UnoTelly the way they say to do it, but to no avail. Does anyone have any ideas?

    Thanks

    Seems like trouble :/
Hvae you tried using UnoDNS to get on to iPlayer?
And if your trying to get rid of the program, why not ask your family member?
Or just system restore it to before your family member used it...

Have you tried clear your DNS? It's actually quite simple to do.

I have tried clearing my cache, didn't help.

I've never used unoDNS before. The family member is 11 and says he can;t remember what he did. Shouldn't have been on my computer

Tried to use system restore, and it says it was turned off. Never heared of it before.

Edit to add- Also have this problem on my iPad. BBC wesbites all redirect to the unoTelly site.

System restores saves a point in time where your pc was working fine and goes back to it.
I'll try help out but I need some sleep first

    Hi Sun,

What operating system do you have? Windows and Mac has a different way. Why don't you send an e-mail to the folks at UnoTelly? I'm sure they are more than happy to help you.

    Thanks for the advice guys

I reset my internet router, with my details again and it worked. Must have gone into the router settings to get UnoTelly to work.
