My mates are going to a shisha cafe Wednesday and want me to go but I have never tried shisha before and doesn't really interest me. They are cool with that but it's something they regularly do and say I should just come anyway shisha or no shisha.

I've never been to a shisha cafe before so is there any point me going along to be social or should I make an excuse? Like, would it be awkward if I went and didn't have any?

If you dont want to go, dont go. They're hardly going to hunt you down.

Shisha isn't all its cracked up to be anyway, but can be fun with a couple friends. Don't try cherry though. That is some bad ****

If you just wanna be social, go for it. It won't be awkward at all but it might be a bit like going out and being the only one not drinking, but not as bad. You can just sit there and chat though.

They leave a wonderful taste in your mouth and you get to imitate a dragon with the smoke but if you do go, make it a scarce amount like once every month

I'd go along anyway because often Shisha cafes do really nice fruit tea and good food too! You could have a try of shisha but next time the pipe comes to you, you can just pass it onto the text person.....also you can't get high from shisha so you won't be sitting there while everyone else is lying around stoned. Depending on the size of the pipe, if you chose to smoke, you'd probably spend most of the time waiting for someone to pass you the pipe!

If I would have been in your place, I would have definitely gone... I enjoy such places.
