    has anyone got any good quotes that can be used as evidence for gothic, language , structure and form. also any general notes and ideas on this text! thanks

    In the book itself it has loads of different ideas for interpretations and context etc.

    Structure wise you can look at when Prose is used in comparison to Blank Verse, for example look at Faustus lines in comparison to Rafe and Robin.. Decorum basically.

    Language you can look at where you is used in comparison to thou, as that looks into status. For example Faustus says to Mephistopheles 'Thou art too ugly to attend on me' - The use of 'thou' shows his Hubris because of course it is Mephistopheles who takes him to hell at the end of the play therefore he is an important character yet Faustus doesn't think he is.

    thank you so much, do you know any quotes that you can use for multiple themes,language and structure,and what would you say is the most prevalent gothic concept of the whole play?

    Can anyone locate me a thread on the 'A2 AQA English Literature A 20th June exam' as i can't seem to find it anywhere as most people aren't entirely specific in the titling of threads. Need help with notes and revision
