Re: WJEC French A2 Level - Tuesday 19th JuneYeah, I suppose so(Original post by pbwheeler)
I don't think it's too bad, i prefer FN4 to FN2!!I like how the essay is on a definite topic and I like how the majority of marks don't fall with reading! haha! What are you doing your essay on?
I'm doing l'étranger, what are you doing for yours?

Re: WJEC French A2 Level - Tuesday 19th JuneIs that a book or a film? I have no idea, it seems that the topics which usually come up are irrelevant to what we learn in class (this is the case for me, anyway) but I'd like something on immigration or nuclear energy. I've not revised much, been bogged down with too much psychology work :/ so I'm going mad right now trying to cram everything in, haha.(Original post by pbwheeler)
Les Choristes
Any idea what topic might come up in the reading? How's the revision going?

Re: WJEC French A2 Level - Tuesday 19th JuneGlad to know I'm not the only one! No I won't be learning vocab either, just the essay and perhaps grammar. I guess it's important to practise translations too...(Original post by RaspberryHaze)
I agree, I only really began revision today but I don't think I'll learn specific vocab as it often doesn't seem to be relevant! Instead it seems to be more important to focus on grammar. -
Re: WJEC French A2 Level - Tuesday 19th JuneIt's a film, I actually really like it though, which helps. I hope the reading does not have really specific vocab in it. I genuinely hate the reading :P I've been practising translations but I always find once you master one bit of grammar you start to find there's something else, so i've given up! I might just re-watch the film :s(Original post by rach2012x)
Is that a book or a film?
I feel really out of the zone mind with french. After all this study leave and the language has kind of left my brain! haha!
Anyway, i'm off to cram - Bon chance! -
Re: WJEC French A2 Level - Tuesday 19th June
hi, hope everyone's not too nervous! i'm gonna be doing 'le grand voyage' for my essay, so i've learned a tonne of vocab for that, and i've been mainly revising grammar for the translations. I haven't spent much time at all on the topic vocab (for the translation and reading comps) cos I'm hoping i'll be able to recognise the vocab from what i learned for the FN3 exam, and anything i don't know for the translation should be in one of the 2 texts somewhere
feeling quite relaxed about this exam really, i feel really well prepared tbf! bon courage, et merde!

Re: WJEC French A2 Level - Tuesday 19th June
Got really stuck on the year 8 vocabulary in the 2nd reading. Sat there for about ten minutes trying to work out what the words for 'airplane' and 'coach' were. Haven't revised that stuff in years!
All in all, could have gone better... Really can't tell. Just going to try and forget about it really :P -
Re: WJEC French A2 Level - Tuesday 19th JuneWhat parts did you find the hardest? I thought the listening and the reading on the expulsion of Afghans was the worst.(Original post by roshni_shah93)
that was the hardest exam yet!! compared to all the other french papers that has to be the hardest!
I'm doing l'étranger, what are you doing for yours?
