Messy flatmates and kitchen...what to do?
So I am in the process of checking out, but the kitchen is a complete ****hole! I have not made any of those mess and I have told my flatmates to clean them, but being *******s themselves, they never got around to doing it. The problem is I will leave before any of them will and if I don't clean the kitchen then money will come out of my deposit. So do I bite the bullet and just clean it? What would you do?

Clean it but sabotague their room. Buy a frozen fish and hide it somewhere in their room so over time it begins to smell and rot.

I'm in the same situation at the minute. I'm tidying up and feeling so smug about it but there's really nothing else you can do :/

I've been in the same situation before. There really isn't much you can do. Leave as soon as you can. And live with someone who would share the cleaning. In your case, you have to clean if you want your deposit.

I had this problem, I put it the dirty dishes and things in a bin bag and just cleaned the sides before I left. I don't know what happened with it all, but didn't get charged for anything.

Either report it OR do it very early in the morning/late at night, with a bit of music to give you a bit of a boost into doing it. They will certainly learn either way.

And you would've gotten away with it too, if it wasnt for this pesky kid.

Seriously.... Clean it and then take photos on the day you leave and email them to yourself. Then you can prove that it was all clean on the day you left (just in case they mess it all up again)
