In the past I've found more memory = faster internet, but that just might be something coincidental

O2 but it used to be faster it always buffers when you are trying to watch a video on YouTube etc.

Interesting. Is it slow on one machine or on all?

Might be worth speaking to your phone line provider to see if they can do a line test - that's unusual.

What part is unusual do you mean that it used to be faster or the you tube buffering. It is also low on iPad at 0.44.

Have a recheck of your wires, and reset your modem, then check internet speeds at different points of the day, as it might be throttling.
If it's not, then ask your provider about the issue and they'll go through this as well

If you have a high internet usage in your house they can limit your speeds at peak times but you have to be seriously using your internet i.e. torrenting etc. Like everyone said a line test from your ISP they'll let you know if theres a fault on the line and they'll send out an engineer to that line and fix it. it may be because BT are doing world wide UK work on all the green boxes you see might be causing slow speed.

It also could be the channel your using on your router may not be the best channel for your area. The tech support team from 02 should be able to help you with that and walk you through it. I would advise on it but I have a BT home hub (which isn't the best most of the time -_-) but I only know how to configure one of those due to going through 6 of them in 2 years ha!
