Recovering from an SD card?
Okay so I've found myself in a bit of a pickle today. I wanted to import some pictures from my camera onto my computer but was unable to find the wire connecter thing. So I used a card reader and inserted the sd card. I selected the option 'import files' and waited for them to upload.
However I found that numerous files had not successfully been uploaded and they were images taken from the last fews months. I removed the sd card from the card reader and put it back in the camera. I checked the photo playback thing and the images were nowhere to be found
Somehow some of my images have been deleted from the sd card- is there anyway of me recovering these? I know there is software you can use to recover deleted files but it seems not to be working. Maybe its because the images were deleted whilst the sd card was in the computer and not manually on the camera, i'm not sure
Does anyone know how or if I can recover these? And is there any software that will work?
Thanks

Re: Recovering from an SD card?I actually had to recover some files from an SD card last night and found that recuva did not give me very good results, so I had to fall back on another program that I occasionally use which is more complicated but arguably better.
Basically, if you find recuva doesn't work, there is another hope.
p.s. hopefully you aren't using the SD card at the moment or doing anything with it other than trying to recover files from it
