    International students finance
I learned that non-EU international students had virtually no access to student loans, government support or any type of financial aid whatsoever. How do you manage your tuition? Besides those whose families are rich enough to cough it up without a second thought, I mean. Do you work-study, earn money during the vacations or get loans from somewhere? If you get loans, where do you get it from? Your home country? What's the interest like? Thanks.

I'm coming to UCL this September from the US, and I'm paying for my tuition through government loans from the US. I had to apply for them through UCL, but the loan themselves are from the US government. I'm getting two loans, and I believe the interest rates are 4% for the first and 6 or 7% for the second. They were pretty easy to get, I just had to fill in all the necessary paperwork and go through the correct steps.

You should contact your school to find out more information for non-EU money sources. UCL has a department that works just on this, so it was pretty easy.

I checked some schools to see their FA info, but it seemed as if most of the non-EU FA was earmarked for certain ethnic groups or nationalities. Since I'm neither part of one of those ethnic groups nor a US citizen, I'm afraid I won't be able to get any FA at all. And the UK doesn't give loans to international students either Unless I win a scholarship from my country, I think I'll have to pay the full international tuition......
