    Interview prep?
I'm applying to cambridge this year as an independent applicant, was wondering if anyone knows any good places that do interview prep/mock interviews?

I've found oxbridgeinterviews.co.uk, anyone have any experience of them?

    Thanks!

You might like to contact some local schools. My head of history was pretty amenable to helping out people from other schools who couldn't get interview support there, or who wanted to have interview practice from someone they didn't know.

I actually volunteer for this company That said, I would decide whether to go for it or not based on whether you have to pay or not. Interview preparation does not guarantee success in the real thing and isn't all that necessary. It's more a confidence-boosting thing and a taster. There are far easier ways to practice interview technique (and, if you're having to pay, cheaper ways too)

thanks, im just nervous if i get an interview this year because i applied last year and massively mucked it up! so really need practice, for experience and for confidence as you said. the money is an awful lot tho. ill look into possibly finding some local teachers that might be willing to help out, if that yields nothing then will probably have to go for this
