    Baseball in Canterbury
I will be living in Canterbury next year and I was wondering if there is any way to play baseball there.

It looks like there is no University team, so I wonder if there is another club or team. I have no special training for baseball but I'm not lookin necessarily for a pro' team.

    ANy help would appreciated

If you go on there you can search for teams and maybe find one near you.

Thanks for the link although it seems that it's not working

I tried with the city name and then the postcode, it freezes at the "Working" step.

I'll try another day, just in case

Kent Mariners play just down the road in Maidstone. Not sure if there are any nearer teams.

Yeap, I found information about them. Not sure about two things.
    1. They are pros, aren't they? Not sure if they'll take someone who wants to play just for fun.
2.-I doubt I'll have the time and money to go there to train.

I was looking for something more like a University Club, or some amateur club.
Well, I'll find out myself about the Mariners when I get to Canterbury anyway.

    Thank you for the answer

No they are definitely not pro's, lol. There are no professional baseballers in England.

They're a bunch of enthusiastic amateurs playing at quite a low standard on a field behind a rugby club. I'm sure they would welcome you with open arms. I think they drink in the big Wetherspoons in the city centre if I remember correctly.
