    Amazon.com Gift card - help!
Hi, so here's the thing: I've won an Amazon Gift Card on the yougo forum, but unfortunately it's an amazon.com one, and I was hoping for an amazon.co.uk one, since I wanted to order my stuff from the UK, seeing as I will be moving there in a couple of months. My problem is that ordering stuff from the US, both in my actual country (Romania) and the UK, it takes a lot of time (between 18 and 26 days) and it's also a bit expensive, the shipping rates are about 8$. It wouldn't be convenient for me to spend 8 of my 25$ from my voucher on shipping..so if I was able to exchange this for a UK one, I'd get free (or cheaper anyway) delivery when I move to the UK, as I don't intend to use my voucher until then.
Is there any solution to this problem? The website clearly states amazon.com vouchers CAN'T be used on amazon.co.uk
ps: sorry if this wasn't the appropriate forum to post in, I just didn't know in which category to include this! thanks!

You could email Amazon - they can sometimes be really nice and help with this kind of thing. Say you won an Amazon voucher in a competition but it's a US one - hoping to change it to a UK one and they MAY just help you out

Or just sell it on ebay... gift cards go for close to face value. Then you'd have the money to spend on any site you want

Thank you for your reply! I thought of that, but I had understood I'd only be able to sell it for a lower value. I wanted to see if there was any other possibility, and if I don't find one, I'll probably sell it I've just emailed Amazon, maybe they'll be kind enough to help
