I can't really help you, but I like Keele I believe it's higher on the league tables but I may be wrong.

    Better in what sense?

You get what you put in at university. In this sense, look at which of the two universities has the best local facilities, both academic and pastoral.

Keele is sort of in the middle of nowhere. The nearest local university is Staffordshire. You will obviously have better resources and access to other resources in Manchester. I spent a year in Manchester doing a computing degree before switching to English at the MMU Cheshire campus. Crewe did not have the same level of resources as Manchester, but because it is in the middle of a transport network it was easy to get to other places: Chester, Liverpool, Stoke and Warrington etc., etc..

No one can tell you which university will be better for you. You need to decide what is most important for you.

Keele is a better University but MMU has a better city. Visit both and see where you feel your most likely to succeed at!

It's up to you. I love Keele and I wouldn't want to go to Uni in a big city like Manchester. But it's what you prefer.
