    Any Suggestions for BA's in Geography?
    Hello =D

    I'm new to the student room but have lurked here ever since the start of the year really and I was wondering if anyone could share experiences or suggest places to do a BA in Geography.

    Currently I've shortlisted Oxford, Durham (Surprisingly requiring A*AA whilst Oxford only wants AAA) and from predicted grades and GCSE's I should be able to apply. Also Lancaster University seems like a definite pick with a great department and ratings despite only wanting AAB (with general studies).

    However many people have suggested that with university's with those entrance requirements I should really have a few backups in case something falls through grade or just general interview wise. So my question to you is, what was your experience of the university's I've suggested and also, where else would you recommend for geography?

    Thanks =D

    i was told by my college Geography tutor that Birmingham has a good department and the entry requirements are not that high (they were too high for me tho ).

    seems as though you have been having a good look round and although I have no idea as to what sort of grades you will be expecting it seems as though you are aiming really high and it really is a good odea to have a back up of a place where the requirements are below what you are expecting as you never know what will happen.

    Sheffield, Nottingham, Southampton are good choices.
