amazing spark--is this uncommon?
I started thinking recently about a guy I hooked up with a while ago. I was on holiday and we met at a bar and talked all night, and then made out as he was leaving. It was the most amazing kiss I've ever had---from the very beginning I felt this crazy spark and after making out for just a little bit I was so sexually turned on it kind of freaked me out---like just kissing, fully clothed, no touching or anything, and it was basically enough foreplay that I could have comfortably had intercourse right then. And it was pretty clear he felt the same. We saw each other the next night and made out again, but nothing else, and I left the city the next day and went back home.
I realized I've never ever had even close to that sort of instant connection to anyone I've ever been with. When this happened I had pretty recently broken up with a boyfriend of 2 years, in fact, and while I do believe I was (and still am) in love with him, and was extremely upset after we broke up for a good many months, it just was not the same type of feeling as with this guy. I've not slept with many guys but I've kissed plenty and never had even a similar feeling.
Thinking about this makes me feel that I should be able to tell if this spark exists right away and it seems pointless to waste time dating guys who I don't feel this with, because it'll never be as good.
But I'm scared that this attitude might be bad if such a connection is really uncommon....so I'm curious as to how many others have experienced similar things? -
Re: amazing spark--is this uncommon?haha, trust me I would if I could but I never got his last name so I can't look him up online and his phone number was on my European phone which I no longer have (I'm American).(Original post by lad-lad)
May be its worth contacting the guy or finding out who he is. It seems like you are in for some good time here
I suppose it doesn't necessarily mean anything, but I'll always wonder, you know? Especially if I never feel that again.
