Hi everyone,
I didn't manage to find an answer to my question, so I'm starting a new thread - I hope it's not a problem and also that this is the right forum for it.
So I'll be applying to UK unis this year (UCAS 2013), but I've already completed secondary education. I've registered on UCAS and started entering all my details. My problem is that I finished school this year (2012), but will be taking some additional qualifications next year specifically to boost my UK application.
However, I can't put 2013 as the date of the extra exams on UCAS, because I finished school in 2012. I can't say I'm finishing school in 2013, because it's not true, I'd be taking the additional exams as an individual. So does anyone have any idea as to what I should do? One uni I'll be applying to told me it would all be fine, but it wouldn't be enough to include the extra exams in my reference, they'd have to be on UCAS, too, understandably. I can't say I was home-schooled for a year, either, and there is no other school under which I could enter my extra exams.
I wanted to contact UCAS, but apparently they don't have an email address for questions (do they?) and I'm trying to avoid phoning them up, so I thought I might as well ask here. Thank you!
tl;dr - Is it possible to enter a qualification for 2013 if I finished school in 2012? I got an error message saying 'You can only select a qualification date that is within the attendance dates.'
