Is this a good deal?
I've found a deal on Phones4u which is the HTC One S in grey (free handset) for £15.50 a month with Orange Panther. This includes 50 mins of calls, 250mb of Internet and 3000 texts, which I believe to be the limit anyway for unlimited texts...
So I was just wondering if this is a fairly good deal compared to others, and if there were better ones out at the moment? My current contract/phone is awful so I don't want any mistakes this time. Also, if anyone already has the One S, is it good?
Thanks

Re: Is this a good deal?
Seems to be quite a competitive deal. There is a T-Mobile tariff with 100mins, 3000 texts & 250MB data for £15.50 per month. or tesco deal on o2 with 100 mins, unlimited texts & 100MB data for £18.50 p/m plus free insurance.
Change the sliders to 0 mins:

Re: Is this a good deal?I don't think I'll need that much tbh, plus my budget is £15.50. So can I connect to my home wifi for free, yeah?(Original post by debt!)
It may be worth going for a contract with 500MB of data. Remember any data that you use while connected to wi-fi will not be included within your data allowance.

Re: Is this a good deal?Well I'm on 50 mins at the moment, and so far this month I've used 2 mins of that...(Original post by clad in armour)
50 mins.....? forgot the data, you'll go over so much you'll get huge bills, I'm sure there are better one s deals than that

Re: Is this a good deal?
Yes connect to your home wi-fi (or wi-fi hotspots or bt open zones) for free.
I would go for one of the deals from best-mobile-contracts.co.uk, seems to offer what you need. T-Mobile 100 mins, unlimited texts, 250MB data & free handset. T-Mobile & Orange are the same company so you will get the same coverage. -
Re: Is this a good deal?
Hey back again, I was wondering if someone could take a look at it for me, just to double check :P

I'm going for the Orange Panther contract for £15.50 a month, but in the Promotional Offers section, it says "*£120 by redemption". I don't understand. Does this mean that the effective cost of the phone is £15.50 because of the £120 redemption, or that the cost is £15.50 a month, and also there is £120 redemption?
Many thanks, sorry for being a nuisance!
