    Music and Science
I have a-levels in maths, physics, chemistry and biology and am now studying a level 3 national diploma in music. I have continually been struggling to find a destination or a course that I'm sure I want to do, which is partly why I restarted college to do music, despite successfully completing my a-levels. I'm still not sure what I want to do but currently I want to find a course which combines my music diploma with my physics and maths a-level, of which I got an A* and an A. I want to study music from a scientific angle. So far I have struggled to find many courses that might satisfy this so I am wondering if anyone has any suggestions, ideas, advice or anything that could help me out here. Ideally I am looking for links to university courses. Thanks

They may have changed it since, but when I was looking I went to a Surrey open day where they outlined their maths with music course. I have no musical aptitude so it didn't personally appeal, but I remember thinking it looked interesting and it had modules that looked at the science behind music - fractions, progressions, that sort of thing (as I say, no musical aptitude. )

Perhaps this course? Sorry if it's not exactly what you're looking for; I see what you mean about it being a hard find!

You might want to look at Keele, whose Music department is renowned for its scientific approach to music (albeit mainly psychological afaik) I just checked and it seems they may do a joint Maths and Music course:
