Bradford Bulls make entire coaching staff redundant
http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/rugby-league/18675339
I know there's been a lot of football teams in trouble financially but I think Bradford Bulls rugby league is the most serious situation I've seen yet.
This is especially galling after last weekend they got a great win at Wigan who are top of the table.
When you think of Bradford's recent history:
Super League Champions 1997, 2001, 2003, 2005
Challenge Cup Winners 2000, 2003
World Club Challenge Winners 2002, 2004, 2006
They were basically the dominant team in rugby league for about a decade from 96-06
Having to lay off head coach Mick Potter and his entire backroom set up because they can't afford to pay non-playing staff, says to me that the Bulls are about to be wound up and might not finish the season.
This would be like seeing a team like Arsenal or Liverpool on the verge of being liquidated... -

Lot of my family are in Bradford. Most within a couple of miles of Odsal. First 'live' sport of any kind I saw was a league fixture against Huddersfield many years ago, so the Bulls hold a special place in my heart. Very sad to see this happening to them
