Final year student loan question, for those who received the maximum loan and grant?
I have created this thread as I wanted to find out more about the reduction you receive on your loan in your final year to take into account the fact that you have graduated by June.

In my second uni year, (11/12) I was awarded £4576 in the form of maintenance loan and the full £2906 grant. TOTAL = £7482

However in my final year (12/13) I have been awarded £3506 maintenance loan and £2984 maintenance grant. TOTAL = £6490

IS THIS THE REDUCTION EVERYONE ELSE IN MY SITUATION WOULD GET IN THEIR FINAL YEAR?

I wish to make sure that I have applied for the full amount of entitlement as when I was applying I think I may have ticked the living with parents box which may have resulted in a greater reduction being taken.

So if anyone can post the maximum figures available for a final year student this year from a source that would be great (I couldn't find one online) or if anyone has already applied for their loan and has the same figures as me from this year and last year it would be great to hear from you.

Thanks very much for your time.

You get less loan in the final year; as you won't need money to cover the summer.
