How do i know if i am going to enjoy economics at university?
My school does not offer Economics A-level but i am interested in current economic affairs and pick up the economist whenever i can. Is there a textbook or anything i can watch online to give me a taste of university a-level economics?

It depends... Do you want to make loads of money for very little? If so, Economics is the way to go.

Watch Jodie Beggs videos, she's a PhD student at Harvard that teaches undergrads and puts undergrad level videos online.

It's hard to say. I'd argue there is no concrete way of knowing. The major issue is that economics at university is nothing like the A-Level equivalent, hence having done it won't give you an idea as to whether or not you'll enjoy the degree.

I guess if you're interested in the way the world works, enjoy maths and problem solving, and are very inquisitive - always asking why society/firms behave in such a manner, and want to know more about the implications on wider society from policy changes, then an economics degree is for you.
