    Anyone here do body balance?
Hi i was wondering if anyone here does body balance classes? Would love to hear more from TSR'-ers about their experiences and such. I'm kinda intimidated being the only guy in the class often lol. Also, its hard!!

I used to - then I changed gyms. I really enjoyed it, but didn't find it as challenging as a yoga class.
I wouldn't think twice about there being a male in the class; in fact from what I've seen in the past 9 years there are more men attending gym classes than ever.

Occasionally but I don't think I'm cut out for yoga or pilates, I tend to get bored very quickly!

Curious. What do you find boring about it? What would you prefer?

I'm pretty hyper so holding a position for a long time drives me nutty. Imagine trying to get a seven year old to do a class and that's me! I also ALWAYS fall asleep during the relaxation period at the end. I think I'm more of a running/ team sports person.

I tries body balance once because I was quite achey. I got pretty bored and left before the relaxation period. It's not bad to do once in a while I suppose. I also tried pilates last week and again found it too boring.

You should do Prasara Yoga then; going from movement to movement, without relatively much pause. It's less about holding positions, and more about free-flow movements.

That does sound better. Will look out for classes when I move.... might have to give it a miss for now though since nothing that exotic exists in the depths of Suffolk (at least to my knowledge)

Hmm not entirely.. I had to pay for this about £30; instruction and everything.. it's worth it in my opinion.
