Lying in EMA application form ?
I live with my mum and step dad and they make more than the minimum household income to become applicable for EMA. If I were to live with my dad I would be able to get EMA, but I don't want to move there as he lives 30 miles away. What would happen if I were to lie about staying with my dad? Would I get caught easily and what would be the consequences?

I'm only doing this because I can't get a job, I have a paper round that only gets me £20 a week and my mum and step dad don't give me much money.

You'd almost definitely get caught. There's plenty of people trying it so they know what to check for. You'd need to provide details of your Dad's income and his address wont match yours according to school records etc. The first time I applied it was fine, the second time I had to send a copy of my passport + birth certificate even though I'd already had it for a year.
