Differences between A level syllabus and IB syllabus

    Differences between A level syllabus and IB syllabus
    Are the differences between A level econ and maths syllabuses really that different in comparison to the ib hl econ and ib sl maths syllabuses?

    Depends on the exam board in question. CIE AL Econ is by far the hardest and probably harder then IB HL econ aswell.

    Similiarly CIE AL math has topics like complex numbers, vector planes, diff equations which are generally covered in Further Math by other boards. So you should really consider which exam board before asking the question.

    Sorry forgot to mention it :P ill be taking SL math and HL econ as well as edexcel a level econ and a level maths on the side so are they pretty much the same or totally different where the syllabus is concerned?

    HL econ has roughly the same syllabus. SL math covers slightly different topics then AL math but its seen to be easier. The real hard part is HL math so you should be fine if your not taking that.
