Depends on the exam board in question. CIE AL Econ is by far the hardest and probably harder then IB HL econ aswell.
Similiarly CIE AL math has topics like complex numbers, vector planes, diff equations which are generally covered in Further Math by other boards. So you should really consider which exam board before asking the question.Last edited by ZerofeX; 04-07-2012 at 10:59. -

Re: Differences between A level syllabus and IB syllabusHL econ has roughly the same syllabus. SL math covers slightly different topics then AL math but its seen to be easier. The real hard part is HL math so you should be fine if your not taking that.(Original post by Joker :P)
