Hi all,

I am hopefully - grades allowing! - going to be moving to Cambridge to take up postgraduate studies in August. As soon as I get my results I'm going to be looking for a flat and was wondering if anyone knew if there were any especially good letting agents in Cambridge and, conversely, any especially awful ones that should be avoided. I currently live in rented accommodation in Oxford, and know from both my own experience and that of others that the helpfulness and honesty of the letting agents can make a huge difference in the experience of living somewhere.

Have you tried contacting the University Accommodation Service? http://www.accommodation.cam.ac.uk/

They hold lists of available properties from both colleges and individuals, and usually have a good list of properties. It'll also mean that you can [likely] avoid a lot of the application fees etc.
