Re: Christina Aguilera new album ?
YAS A CHRISTINA THREAD <3
Now that RCA houses Pink and Britney, it's safe to say that they will schedule their 2012 releases so that they don't clash. Christina's only rival is Gaga who might be releasing something by the end of the year.
Billboard have confirmed this track and apparently it is made by Max Martin, which I am slightly disappointed about because Max is known for his 'catchy but generic' production. Regardless, she needs a smash, so whatever works is fine! Haha.
Other rumoured producers are/were: Le Tigre, William Orbit, DJ Premier, Scott Storch, Xenomania(!) but some may have been scrapped.
She needs to get a performance on The Voice pronto, because we all know the ratings are gonna drop once it hits the live shows ESPECIALLY with Britney on the other side. -

always excited for a new Christina album but really hope she starts mining the Back to Basics seam again. A couple of the electronic songs on Bionic were good, but it was mostly trash. She has a real jazz/soul voice and she should play on that. Would love to see more electronica tinged RNB like Sex For Breakfast. Speaking of Scott Storch, F.U.S.S. on B2B is a great example of a good style for her. That and Thank You were absolutely ****ing amazing beats completely wasted on throwaway bits of the album...

You liked Thank You (Dedication To Fans...)? I hate it, I think it's one of the worst things she's done.

The Back To Basics era as a whole was very courageous on Christina's part, because she was releasing stuff which was completely non-commercial, and when the industry was wrapped around Timbaland's beats. Bionic would have been truly amazing if RCA hadn't tampered with it and put on the commercial tracks =/
