I think Gary Oldman could play a prefect Jeb, I see Jeb as this,

I think though it would be hard translating this book to a movie, not because of all the flying, but I think it would be trivialised and made too childish like Northern Lights was. Hope has been restored in book to film films after The Hunger Games but it seems like a hard book to do justice to.

I remember hearing about the cast for a film adaptation years ago. I swear it had its own website and you could see the audition of the girl chosen to play Max. This was like 2006-7

There was an online site for public cast auditions but that wasn't taken too seriously by James Patterson because at the time the film was barely in pre-production. Last year Catherine Hardwick dropped out as director so it needs new one so as far as the Internet knows no one has been cast.

I loved the Gazzy and Angel ones although they'd be too old now :/. Was the Max one the girl from the spy kids movies?

Chloe Moretz would be great as Max! Purely because she's so kick-ass and versatile, she seems to be able to turn her hand to anything when it comes to acting.
When I watched The Hunger Games, my first thought when I saw the girl who played Rue was "She'd be amazing as Nudge"!

True they would be too old now. I don't know when they will release the movie. I've been waiting for 3 years now!

Well it's supposed to be 2013 but there hasn't been any concrete news.

Amazon are releasing it on 2nd August, I've just got into the graphics novels so I'm getting really excited and rereading the books! Except for the final warning, that on sucked.
