English Language and Literature or English LiteratureHey everyone, Im abit confused on which one to choose, English lang and lit or just english lang
Im going to do SL English but just not sure which one to choose.
What are the main differences? and which one is easier? -

Re: English Language and Literature or English LiteratureIt depends on how much you like reading, if you want to study nothing but books and extraits you chose lit. If you aren't so enthusiastic about reading then you chose Lang. Lit. Because they concentrate more on the actual English language. At least that's what the IB coordinator from my school told me

Re: English Language and Literature or English LiteratureThere will be much more variety in the Lang&Lit course. I did Lit and it was great, but I wish our school had offered Lang&Lit. It's more versatile which is great since you might get bored with pure Lit after the first year. (And that's coming from someone who LOVES Lit! The course is tough)
