High school full - what to write on application form?
My younger brother will be starting high school in September and we've left it slightly late on a certain high school that he and us want him to go to. Unfortunately, this high school is over subscribed and we've been put on a waiting list and so will have to go to the local high school which is no where near as good as the one we want him and also he wants to go to.

We were given an admissions form which allows us to "include additional information (or if you prefer attach separate sheets/documents) in support of your application.

Could you guys give me some advice on what to write down that would give him the edge to get into the high school? We all want him to go there really badly.

    Thanks.

In my opinion, I wouldn't lye since if they interview you, you need to be prepared! But why not talk about your Hobbies, how you social with people, Why do you wan't to apply there, Ect

This is what I did for my College form. Hope it helps you and your little brother to get it.

P.S, Try to make your applications Unique from others so it shows you cared what to right about, not just writing what first comes in to head. If it helps try to write it down first on Draft Paper

It's at 50% A*-C where as the other school is 95%.
It's just my younger brother who's starting high school. I'm in 6th form. We just want the best for him. Really need something on the admissions form.

Or just make sure he works to be in that 50%.

My school had 26% GCSE A*-C pass rate in the year that I left. I've just graduated with a 2:1 from a Russell Group university. If your brother goes to the local High School it's not the end of the world. The onus is on him to work hard - it's his life and his decisions regardless of whether he's in a poor state school or a brilliant state/grammar/public school. You're making out as if his life is over if he doesn't get into his preferred school - he'll be fine either way so long as he works his ass off.
