I'm doing Chemistry and Biology (both OCR) for my AS Levels. There are so many textbooks-but which one is the best? I've identified Heinemenn as being pretty good but there's ones by Toole, Jones, Taylor, etc which also have brilliant reviews.

I'm also doing PE-could anyone recommend the best one for that? Is OCR PE for AS by Nesta Wiggins-James better or is OCR PE Revision Guide by Ken Macreth better?

Finally, are there any extra books you'd recommend for these subjects and my other subject, History (I've already bought the Access to History books in their amazing!)

I know I'm asking a lot but there's just so many out there I don't know which ones to choose
