Psychology conversion course at Liverpool Hope University
Hi,
I am int'l student and planning to apply to study in Liverpool Hope this Sept '12.
I read alot of negative reviews of the lecturers not turning up, late on marking the assignments on time, strikes, standard or no books etc.
Could I get some advice from Psychology students in this Uni?
a) Are the modules taught sufficient for understanding?
b) Do lecturers/tutors able to guide when we ask qns?
c) Is the standard good? Enough tutors to teach or it is difficult to learn as tutors/lecturers dont turn up or mark late assignments? Is there sufficient help on dissertation. I am so worried about the standard and responsibility of the tutors as the reviews seem to scare me off.
d) Any one stay in Aigburth? I cant find any relevant photos on the ensuite room with the bathroom. Anyone has the photos or can advise if the bathroom is clean enough?
e) Is the library has sufficient books to borrow for assignments or we have to buy at the bookstore?
f) ANy one graduated and is finding a job difficult?
g) Is finding a part-time job there difficult?
Or any advice/reviews on your Psychology course in this Uni is greatly appreciated.
many thanks. -
