M6 Toll Alert - What do you think of this comment?
Comment from Sky News Website:

Does it hold any merit? Could it actually serve as encourage for any terrorist groups? It certainly wouldn't be that difficult to effect, most particularly for home-grown terrorists, who would most probably not have to deal with any security checks etc...In terms of the actual story, I would say that perhaps it can be argued that this story should not have been reported in the first place, in the sense that if any AL Qaeda terrorist was watching the nws and realizing how much choas they could cause by bombing sa coach on the M6 Toll road, such as a bomb in a rugsack beneath a seat, with the bomber sitting on rthe seat, or without the bomber, with the bomber getting off the bus before the planned destination of the bomb explosion. I also believe that there should have been a huge cover over the entire scene so that noone could see what was happening, in the sense that noone whould realize that this was a posible Terrorist Incident.

What do you think?
Terrorists have thought of every possible way of trying to inflict damage, so this really doesn't encourage them at all to venture into bombing buses on a toll road... -

Cover the incident with a massive tent?! Who wrote that comment, a 5 year old?
If terrorists are going to plan attacks, I think they will use their own initiative and imagination instead of watching Sky News and thinking "hey, that looks like a good idea!".
....Maybe we should ban people from renting the Sandra Bullock film 'Speed' as well, just to be safe? -

Not at all.

Funny it turned out to be a bloke having a cheeky toke on his electric fag. -

Bombing a motorway wouldn't do a lot of damage. Apart from the people caught in the explosion and subsequent pileup, it wouldn't be much more than an inconvenience for anyone else. Maybe not even that, considering there's a perfectly good non-toll motorway running parallel to the M6 Toll. I'm sure the terrorists can think of far more destructive things to do with their bombs.
