Alcohol in the eye? Help?
Hey there,
I was out last night and some guys thought it would be funny, since I wasnt drinking much last night, to dip my head and pour Vodka & Red bull into my mouth, since they were so pissed, it missed, hit my nose and drenched my entire shirt and my eye started stinging, assuming it went in, I quickly washed it out with some water and cleaned up to what I could.
I've woken up this morning, popped my glasses on as usual, but the left eye, the one which i 'think' it went in, seems a little off, not perfect, but not majorly bad, this sometimes happpens after i've been out drinking and i'm slightly hungover.
What should i do? I have work in a few hours, and i can't afford to miss it -- I'm working quite late and long shifts this weekend, would you reccomend seeing E.R tonight after work, or would you reccomend leaving it? -- It may just go away. I'm just worried.
I've read some resources online of people who this has happened to, and it seems like they got a "chemical" burn from it, but their eye was red, sore, and itchy. Mine is fine, it just feels a little "under powered".
Thanks,
Chris. -

Then I doubt a splash of vodka is going to leave you blind, it may sting but there won't be any lasting damage just from that.
